VFD Speed Scaling Converter

You want 45 Hz. What number do you actually write to the drive? Depends entirely on its reference format.

Works offline. Every calculation runs on your device, no signal needed. Install the BAS Field Reference app to keep it on your phone.

How to use it

  1. Find the drive's reference format in its fieldbus or communication supplement (parameter #6 in the article below).
  2. Enter the speed you want and the drive's maximum frequency.
  3. Pick the format the drive expects. The result is the value to write over the network.
  4. Verify by commanding a known value — 50% — and measuring actual output frequency at the drive.
