Works offline. Every calculation runs on your device, no signal needed. Install the BAS Field Reference app to keep it on your phone.
How to use it
- Measure resistance across the sensor with the sensor disconnected from the controller.
- Pick your sensor type. For thermistors, get R25 and Beta from the manufacturer's datasheet.
- Read the temperature. Compare it against a reference thermometer at the same location.
- A consistent offset across the range suggests drift. An error that grows across the range usually means the wrong sensor type is configured.
