How to use it
- Read the two consecutive registers from the device with any Modbus master.
- Enter them below in hex (4248) or decimal (16968). The first register is the lower address.
- Read across the four results. The one that looks like a plausible engineering value is your device's byte order.
- Set that byte order in your master or gateway and re-read to confirm.
