BAS Network Lab

When the graphic says offline and the meter says everything’s fine, the answer is on the network. Two tracks: read BACnet/IP traffic in a Wireshark-style capture window, and work IP problems from a Windows command prompt against a live site network. Learn each tool step by step, find the fault yourself, then take a timed test for the leaderboard. Most scenarios are built from problems techs actually posted on forums and support boards.

  1. Read the work order
  2. Work the capture: filters, statistics, packet details
  3. Make the call: what broke and how you know

TutorialThe next button or menu to use is outlined, and a bubble explains each step. The lesson moves on when you do it in the window.
PracticeSame capture, no outlines. You get a list of findings to collect and up to three hints each (where to look, which tool, exactly what to type). Hints cost points.
TestFive random faults with the titles hidden. No hints and one answer each. A right call is worth 100, plus up to 50 for speed.
