BAS MS/TP Trunk Lab

Most MS/TP faults are on the wire or in four settings, and the front end can’t tell you which. This lab gives you a live trunk with a router and a string of controllers, a meter you can put on any device, an MS/TP frame capture, and each controller’s settings. Find the fault, make the call, fix it, and prove the whole trunk is healthy.

  1. Read the work order
  2. Meter it, capture it, check the settings
  3. Make the call, fix it, verify
